What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years throughout Asia to prevent, treat and cure many diseases.
Not only for physical ailments, but also impairments of the mind and emotions, is this therapy excellent.
Acupuncture works by stimulating the Qi of the body. Qi is the life force or "energy" that flows through every living thing, and whenever there is an imbalance it is because the Qi is "blocked".

Does acupuncture hurt?
Patients experience a variety of sensations during an acupuncture treatment. Thanks to the very fine needles I use and the gentle techniques I apply, patients' sensations vary from a slight tingling to a pulsating, warming, feeling a dull ache or a small pinch that quickly dissipates to no reaction at all.
Acupuncture is above all a very calming experience and some patients achieve such deep relaxation that they fall asleep during the treatment.
